How we handle your resume data.

When you use Ajusta we collect a small amount of account data and the resume content you upload:

• Name and email (via Google OAuth or email signup).
• Resume content: work history, education, skills, contact details that appear in the file.
• Job descriptions you paste in to score and optimize against.
• Optional application tracking data you choose to enter.

Your data is used exclusively to deliver the optimization service:

• Parse and structure your resume into editable sections.
• Score it against the ATS criteria for the job description you provide.
• Generate the rewrite suggestions you review and approve.
• Track applications, only if you enable that feature.

What we do not do: we do not use your resume content to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any AI model, ours or a third party's. We do not sell, rent, or trade it.

• Resume files are stored in Azure Blob Storage with encryption at rest.
• Structured resume data is stored in Azure Cosmos DB with encryption at rest.
• All transit uses HTTPS / TLS 1.2+.
• Account access is gated by OAuth or hashed-password authentication.

We use these third-party AI services to power the product:

• Azure OpenAI for parsing PDF and DOCX resumes into structured form.
• Llama (Azure AI Foundry) for ATS scoring and rewrite generation.

Both run under Microsoft data processing agreements that prohibit using customer data for model improvement. Resume content is sent to these services only for the duration of the active request and is not retained on their side.

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties except:

• With the AI providers above, solely to fulfil your active request.
• When required by law or to protect against abuse of the service.
• With your explicit consent (e.g. if you opt into a partner integration).

• Resume data is retained while your account is active.
• You can delete individual resumes from your dashboard at any time.
• Deleting your account triggers permanent removal of all associated data within 30 days, including backups.

You can:

• Access the data we hold on you.
• Correct anything inaccurate.
• Delete your data and your account.
• Export a copy of your data on request.
• Opt out of all non-essential communications.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be flagged on this page and the "Updated" date above will move accordingly. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
